Congratulations! You are almost finished with high school. Life after high school graduation might seem uncertain now, but we are here to help answer all your questions about how your MCC credits will transfer to a different college, help you complete your degree, and more.

Senior Checklist
June (after junior year)

Add scholarships to your tracker that you plan to complete this summer and fall. This will help to keep you focused when tasks feel overwhelming during your senior year.

Send your AP scores to MCC if you need these as a pre-requisite or to count towards your degree or certificate. If you send them by June 15th, it is free.

Register for any fall CollegeNow! classes you are planning to take. You can do this in your Self Service or by using the registration form.
July (after junior year)

Start working on your scholarship essays. Even if the applications are not open, you can still complete the essays. Make a list of instructors, coaches, advisors, and counselors who you want to ask for a letter of recommendation, should one be required.

Finalize you list of colleges where you plan to apply. Applications for most colleges will open August 1.

If you have registered for a fall Kickstart Online class, be sure to login to your MCC account. If you cannot login, contact IT support at 531-622-2900.

CollegeBoard's Big Futures Scholarship is open! This scholarship does not require an essay.
