Dual Enrollment Navigator (DEN)
Your Dual Enrollment Navigator, or DEN, is your MCC college advisor while you are in high school. DENs help high school students to create education plans, register for courses, help with transfer questions, and anything else pertaining to your MCC college experience while in high school.
Your current DEN is Alyssa Wiese (awiese@mccneb.edu or 531-622-2343)
Official Transcript
This is an official college document that is a formal record of a student's academic history and can be provided electronically or physically. All unofficial transcripts contain MCC's official seal.
Information on your official transcript will include courses taken, grades, dates of attendance, major, degree earned (if applicable), GPA, and honors received. Most students will send their official transcripts to the college they plan to attend June after high school graduation.
Go to https://tiny.cc/ordertranscript to request your official transcripts. A small fee will apply.
Transfer Course
These courses are generally transferrable to most colleges and degree programs. You should always check with the college where you are planning to earn your degree to see if and how the course transfers. Be sure to ask if the course transfers as a general education credit or elective credit.
You can view a list of MCC transfer courses here. If you are planning to earn an associate's degree, review the Education & Career templates for your focus area/degree type.
Unofficial Transcript
This is a PDF of all courses you've taken at MCC with your final grade. Unofficial transcripts will have your preferred name, MCC ID number, and MCC GPA listed. Students can download their unofficial transcript through Self Service.
When you apply to colleges, the application usually has a question about dual enrollment credits and/or credits taken at other colleges or universities. Then, they usually ask you to upload an unofficial transcript or enter your course information. Either way, you can use your unofficial transcript to provide this information. Students usually send official transcripts June of their senior year.
